Record Store Day

Hey kids,

You might not have heard of Record Store Day, but it's not your fault...

Record Store Day is a cooperative effort between independently owned record stores across the country and big-label musical artists to celebrate, promote, and have a kick-ass time. Lots of sex, drugs, and rock n roll - and given the current shitty state of things, it helps that it's all free.

The whole thing goes down on Saturday, April 18.

Hundreds and hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of stores across the country, as will as internationally, will be participating. Use this handy little thingy to find participating stores near you...

Randal - Totally! What's iTunes got that the indie record stores don't have? Other than better selection, convenience, and prices? Ah, that's right, no DRM enabling us to freely copy the music and distribute it to people who wont fork up the cash to the record store... Eh, who ever openned a record store to make money anyway?

Dr. Z - Analog rules. Digital is for suckers with a measily human sense of hearing.
