For my money, this will be far more effective than the racist slander that McGrumpy and his side kick Gov. Prairie Home Companion are dishing out as an a distraction. For some reason I don't think that people are going to be talking about Obama's neighbors while their 401Ks, jobs and health care go up in a cloud of smoke, irregardless of whether or no Gov. Kill em' All pronounces her 'n's or not.

The NYSE fell bellow 10,000, unemployment is on the rise, McTurd has a left cheek the size of Palin's brain, we just pissed away a trillion dollars and are going to make our grand kids pay 1.5 trillion on it-- and all McCunt have to play is the xenophobia card?

McCain is a dishonest man with no integrity. I don't care what he did 40 years ago in South East Asia. That is not the same man that is running for president. I wasn't even sperm back when that happened, and I am already old enough to be bald, fat and lazy. He is a whore with no visible code of ethics. He is following the Machiavelli Cliff Notes word for watered down word. He is a bum. If he is elected the French Revolution is going to look like an episode of Reading Rainbow, only the guillotine will be replaced by water boarding since, after all, it is no form of torture.

But never mind all of that, we still have thirty days for faith and hope, and we should enjoy every one of them, for if things go south and McABBA wins, they will be the last days of joy any of us will ever see again.

So I leave you with this brave soul. Some of you may recall that I spent an hour in hell this past July by watching Fox News for sixty straight minutes. I have not been right ever since, and I am losing hope that I will ever be the same again. Thats why her journey of 24 hours is so heroic and inspirational:

This is a man that is going to be in touch with the average American? He literally has to rely on his staff to account for all of he and his taxidermied Aryan's homes. Either he is too old or too rich to remember or care. Sure, this is something all those racist blue collar workers that are going to vote for him anyway so they can become permanently crippled economically and spiritually can relate too....

Anyone that makes under a million U.S.D. a year that votes for McCain will get what they deserve. Hell, anyone that does so should get a free flight to Nairobi to live with Obama's brother for a month so they can see if they like shanty living, because 4 more years of this, and that's how most of us will be living, if there is any cellular life remaining.

Behind Enemy Lines:

For reasons I am too frightened to contemplate, I am on John McCain's email list. I got his email today and was about to send it to my spam box, but after hearing his speech this morning, I thought I would give it a look. I am going to analyze this with my comments in parenthetical italics. It reads as follows:

My Friends (I am not your friend you crusty goblin),
We are all aware that next January, the political leadership of the United States will change significantly when a new president is sworn into our nation's highest elected office. It is important that the candidates who seek to lead our country after President Bush define their objectives and what they plan to achieve not with vague language but with clarity.

(I agree with this so far. Good work senator! I fear the other shoe is about to...)

What I want to do is take a little time to describe what I hope to have achieved at the end of my first term as president. I cannot guarantee I will have achieved these things, but I am presumptuous enough to think I would be a good president.

(I am not entirly sure I know what this even means, and quite frankly, I think I will sleep better for it. I think he is saying he will win the election, perhaps get nothing done, yet still be a good president? )

By January 2013, at the end of my first term as president, America has welcomed home most of the servicemen and women who have sacrificed terribly so that America might be secure in her freedom. The Iraq War has been won and Iraq is a functioning democracy. The threat from a resurgent Taliban in Afghanistan has been greatly reduced but not eliminated and there has not been a major terrorist attack in the United States since September 11, 2001.

(This is a fantasy. I can't summerize it any better than this. When I, as a 14 year old boy used to project my life 4 years into the future, it usually consisted of me being a rock star and addored by millions of slutty women that loved me for my money and my metal. McCain is outlining his dreams. This is a therapy session, not a forieng policy outline.)


The United States has experienced several years of robust economic growth and Americans again have confidence in their economic future. Congress has lowered taxes and passed fundamental tax reform offering a choice in how taxes are filed. Americans, who through no fault of their own, lost jobs in the global economy they once believed were theirs for life, are assisted by reformed unemployment insurance and worker retraining programs.

(Does he think he is a super hero?)

Public education in the United States is much improved and test scores and graduation rates are rising everywhere in the country. Health care has become more accessible to more Americans than at any other time in history.
The United States is well on the way to independence from foreign sources of oil; progress that has not only begun to alleviate the environmental threat posed from climate change, but has greatly improved our security as well.

(This is starting to remind me of the story that George tells Lenny at the end of the book "Of Mice and Men" just before he shots him in the back.)

Scores of judges have been confirmed to the federal district and appellate courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court, who understand that they were not sent there to write our laws but to enforce them.

(This is perhaps the worst sentence I have ever read. What he is really saying is he will appoint judges who will rule the way he wants them to rule, which by the way would make impossible the majority of the freedom and prosperity he has outlined above, but I digress.)


Voluntary national service has grown in popularity in part because of the educational benefits used as incentives, as well as frequent appeals from the bully pulpit of the White House, but mostly because the young Americans understand that true happiness is much greater than the pursuit of pleasure, and can only be found by serving causes greater than self-interest.

(Umm, how can a father with children in their 20's not understand that a probable majority of this country's youth thinks that sacrifice is having to turn off their cell phone before a college class that they don't want to attend./?- I am not sure which puncuation to use as that sentence was a question/statement hybrid...)

This is the progress I want us to achieve during my presidency.

These are the changes I am running for president to make. I want to leave office knowing that America is safer, freer and wealthier than when I was elected.

There are serious issues at stake in this election, and serious differences, but it should remain an argument among friends; each of us struggling to hear our conscience, and heed its demands. Each of us, despite our differences, united in our great cause and respectful of the goodness in each other. That is how most Americans treat each other. And it is how they want the people they elect to office to treat each other.

We cannot again leave our problems for another unluckier generation of Americans to fix after they have become even harder to solve. I'm not interested in partisanship that serves no other purpose than to gain a temporary advantage over our opponents. We are all compatriots. We are fellow Americans. I intend to prove myself worthy of the office, of our country and of your respect. I won't judge myself by how many elections I've won. I won't spend one hour of my presidency worrying more about my re-election than keeping my promises to the American people.

And now, I call on you to do your part in making this vision a reality. I am not presumptuous enough to think that I will be elected our next president without your help, and I humbly ask you today to make a contribution to my campaign of any amount to ensure my campaign is fully funded and able to take my message and vision directly to every American voter.

P.S. There are serious issues at stake in this election, and serious differences between the candidates. We will argue about them, as we should. Thoughts on the Edwards Endorsement and the Need for Clinton Love:

First off, Edwards gave a hell of a speech that highlighted his strengths: intelligence, integrity, compassion (for both Sen. Clinton and the poor) and clarity of message. He is good people, straight up. I think Edwards was smart to stay out of this until now. To me, this endorsement is not about who he likes better as either a person or a candidate. This has to do with a spirited citizen and his noble desire to unite the Democratic party and defeat that crusty goblin McCain.

Edwards did not really make an endorsement today, he called a fight, and the fight needed to be called. He did not play the role king maker, he played the role of referee. So I am, in a way, glad that this came today, after the people that think Obama is a Muslim gave Clinton a decisive victory in West Virginia. Edwards can speak to these folk, and they need to be spoken to, for if we have learned anything from Rev. Wright, its that Obama is not a Muslim. And if we have learned anything from the last few presidental elections, we know that Democrats need to win over at least some poor white men.

But I digress....I love John Edwards. I love him like a brother, a father, and a friend. He is my Tom Brady. As a matter of fact, he was my first choice in all of this. I also think it is important to note that Obama could not have made it this far had Edwards stayed in the race any longer than he did. They were splitting far too many voters that eventually went to the 2008 Democratic nominee.

One thing that did disturb me tonight is the amount of people in that room that booed the mere mention of Hillary Clinton. Granted, for the last 4 months she has behaved like someone that deserves to be booed. As a matter of fact, I have said negative things about her in many ways and for many reasons, all of which were valid, tempered and completely justified. She has been behaving like a Machiavellian wench, and in many ways I hate her for it. But I think we need to stop all of that and embrace her and her supporters, for we will need them in the summer and fall. When people that feel passionately about Clinton hear their hero being disrespected, it disrespects them too, and in the end, it makes them want to disrespect us and Obama. It is a vicious and unproductive cycle that paves the way for a McCain presidency, and possibly the end of all cellular and molecular life on the planet Earth. The bastard isn't going to be on this planet for long either way, so what does he care if he destroys it? But again, I digress...

Be advised, American politics is eerily similar to the world of sports, which is probably why K.O. does such a good job at covering both. But we must be reminded that the loyalty and passion we feel for our candidates (like our favorite teams) often borders on the irrational, even if the reasons that created our passions were indeed rational and sound (like the New York Jets being a bunch of fiendish turds). We need to respect that about the Hillary Clinton supporter, because in the end, we all need to be focused on the same result.

Clinton is having a hard time with losing, which is understandable, because she has probably not lost at much in this life. So we need to be there for her and her supporters...unless they try to take this to Denver, and then its Abbie Hoffman time!!!
