Memo:

When I was young, some well intentioned adult told me that you are only as good as those you keep company with. I suppose John McCane never took this lesson to heart. I think his "corruption warrior" mantra is a by product of his own self loathing. Or perhaps there is something in the Arizona water supply...

Ralph Nader is back! I love the guy and hope he does run. I agree with him more than I do virtually any other person that has run for public office in my lifetime. Give em' Hell Ralph...

Speaking of Hell and Nader, I really miss this guy.

Here is a story that involves the U.S. Military, Japan and rape.

And here is a story on the British health care system.
I wonder what the Dems will say about this. My guess is nothing.

great article on british health care. fuck if i'm not depressed as hell now. i'm in the middle on this one. obviously the best care possible should be the biggest concern.

it really seems like a strategy to keep drug prices down - keep the pharmy industry in check - limit their consumer base to such a few fortunate soles that the makers of Avastin and the like are forced to play by the rules - charge reasonable prices so national healthcare providers can afford to include their products in their plan for a wider patient-base.

although the article never specifically cites cost as the reason the NHS doesn't offer the drug to people with lesser advanced forms of breast cancer... i wonder...

Ralph Nader. Where has he been for all this time to grow a grassroots campaign for a third party? He just shows up now, wanding around like Ralph Wiggum playin wiggle puppy. You cannot stop the Obama wave.
