Horrific Live Blogging

Yesterday I did the unthinkable--I watched, and blogged, a random hour of Fox News. I have not been able to sleep since and I am starting to think that I may never enjoy a good nights rest again. But I thought it was important to report behind enemy lines. I would like to try a similar feat sometime in the future, but I was wondering if anyone out there had any requests. I was thinking of doing the Rush or Hannity show, but that might be too much--I am too young to make a widow of my wife. Then I thought about listening to a McCain campaign conference call on XM's POTUS 130, but that may be the only thing that cures my otherwise incurable insomnia.

So the floor is yours. Please use this as a thread and let me know of anything you would like to learn more about but not want to experience yourself.

Oh, Sal, I feel your pain. Why did you go through that sort of self-torture?

Sal Kilmister said...

Hey Divajood,

As the title says, it was hell. I kept waiting for Colbert to come out the entire time and say the entire thing was a joke.

I would probably suggest a radio show of some sort simply because it might be easier to deal with not seeing Rush/Hannity/generic wingnut. Less chance of throwing heavy objects at their image.

Sweet Jesus in a speedo..you watched it voluntarily?

My condolences..are you on meds now?

My Orthopedic Surgeon has 4 fucking tvs in his waiting room and all FOUR are on Fox Noise. So now, I get the first appt in the morning so I don't have nightmares that night. ;)

oh, ps..Contessa Brewer is a worthless hack.

try blogging MOrning Joe. While it will keep your marriage intact, it will make you break a few vases

Sal Kilmister said...

Distributorcap- There is no way I can do Morning Joe. It is much to early for me to start drinking at that time. And make no mistake, the vases did not survive the Fox News experiment.

I am starting to think that Kreplech might have the right idea with the colonoscopy. It might be the least painful path.

Sal, any more Fauz News channel and you might as well give yourself a lobotomy.

I don't know how you did it. Did your TV survive? Did you get a new facial tic?

DCup said...

So you're a masochistic then?

Bradda said...

dcup,
Sal does have a bit of a fetish for inflicting pain on himself.

Helen,
Sal's already got a few facial tics...heh...I kid, I kid.

Fuck those fucking fucks at fox. K.O. has a staff that monitors BillO' and the other mutants; i.e., people he pays to mess up their own heads. Don't ever self-inflict for free.

I want to learn more about what happens at death, but I'm not ready to experience it myself. Trouble is, there's no guarantee you'll want to come back here and tell us what you found. I don't blame you, but it's no help.

Bradda said...

Michael, Tell us how you really feel about Fixed News! Hah! Interesting point about checking out death to see what it's like though, I imagine you wouldn't want to come back after the fact but then again I'm a cynical bastard.
