Here on the Tallahassee end of the Gulf Coast, things are getting windy. I hope my countrymen (and women) 400 miles to the west that couldn't get out are alright tomorrow at this time.
In honor of the great fuck up that was Katrina, I post the following documentary entitled "Refuge of Last Resort" made by someone who was unable to get out last time around.
On my way out here from California, we drove through New Orleans, and there were so many destroyed structures that were never rebuilt.

Why rebuild? Whitey needs that space for future use.
Wasn't as bad as it could have been, thankfully, though it did mute the impact of the RNC.
