- My wife is very angry and has this to say:

I hate Republicans. It feels good to say this. I have to come to terms with this. I hate Republicans (with the exclusion of my best friend's husband who is really an alright guy). I'm a social worker. I'm not supposed to hate. I work with all sorts of people (e.g. murderers, crack heads, pedophiles) but this Republican convention is really getting under my skin. So I'm trying to figure out why I am holding myself back from throwing something at my new expensive television and I realize I'm scared. I'm scared that they will win. They being the people who want to overturn Roe v. Wade, who don't believe in evolution, sex education, civil liberties, or a judicial branch that actually protects the constitution. They who love George Bush (i.e. the younger/dumber one). These are a people that I just don't understand...

On a side note...I urge everyone to check out Iraq Veteran's Against the War's website. Here they are talking about McCain's failure to actually help our newest veterans...
