This is a quote from the linked article.

“The Clinton campaign has asserted that Penn's meeting was "independent of the campaign."”

This seems to be the biggest problem that our country is plagued with. Our government should be looking out for its citizens by regulating corporate activity; rather, corporations are running our government. That is to say, corporations are not only beyond the law but also make the laws. This situation involving the head of a lobbying corporation being a prominent presidential front-runner’s number one strategist is just another example of how our government has been manipulated by greed for a very long time. The big question is, when will the majority of our citizens have a problem with such dealings?
