McCain and the Media...

John McCain and the media are truly a match made in heaven. They really do make a terrific couple. He's so old and stately and the media's so shy and naive. I mean, how else would you describe being able to say whatever the hell you want and to never be called on it? How else can you say something THIS stupid and not have your presidential candidacy immediately taken away? Behold:

"I saw yesterday some additional comments that have been revealed by Pastor Wright. One of them, comparing the United States Marine Corps with Roman legionnaires who were responsible for the death of our savior. I mean, being involved in that. It's beyond belief. And then of course, saying that al Qaeda and the American flag were the same flags. So, I can understand. I can understand why people are upset about this. I can understand why, that Americans when viewing these kinds of comments are angry and upset."

Reverend Wright never compared the Marine Corps with the Roman's that killed Jesus! I mean he might as well have said that Wright personally nailed the last nail to the cross. Sadly, that wasn't the quote that got me fired up.

John McCain can understand why people are upset about Rev. Wright saying the American flag is the same as al Qaeda's?? Where the fuck did you get this whopper from Johnny boy? First of all, I don't remember EVER seeing al Qaeda's flag. Do they really have one? Second, Rev. Wright never said that either. How can you make up two massive lies about someone then claim you understand why "viewing these kinds of comments" would get people riled up? Your a LIAR John McCain.

From the Illiterate Electorate:

"John McCain secretly worked with the North Vietnamese during the war and was never a "prisoner" of war but was part of the communist take over from the beginning. John McCain personally trained al Qaeda members and gave them schematics of the World Trade Center. John McCain killed Bambi."

See how it works. You can make up any kind of shit and claim it to be true. If the media is going to give him a free ride well then we might as well just hand him the presidential tiara and forget about it. Just imagine for a second if Obama had made the claims that McCain did. Hmmm...
