Ifill "Palin blew me off"

I still can't understand why she did not reply to Palin's admission that she was not going to answer questions by telling her that she then would have no opportunity to talk. Seems to me that is the point of a debate. Otherwise you are allowing yourself to be a tool for the campaign.
