Rednecks on Obama

These Jacksonville Jaguars fan's opinions about Sen. Obama are for informational purposes only, and do not represent those of the staff or readers (hopefully) of i.E. We just want to document that its out there. Also, this may or may not be safe for work. I couldn't make it through for I am at work (unless you are my boss, in which case I am home and this is just being posted on an 8 hour delay due to increased internet traffic).

Sadly, people like this are not found just in the south, though they tend to be in an abundance around certain areas--like Gainsville, Florida during Gator games. I have also seen folk like this in the midwest and Utah and Riverside, California and they always smell like Basic cigerrettes, P.B.R. and canned fish.

Well, here it is:

Why do you gotta bag on Jags fans? Sure there's a lot of rednecks in Jacksonville, but that's lumping a lot of good people in with this horrible example.

Well said Sal. Jag fans hate Obama because he is an Arab who is responsible for cutting off American soldiers' heads, This is unacceptable because we are at war with Iran and Iraq.

I see.. The Dolphins fans are trying to make jokes.

Dick- Don't hate Dolphins because they are smart.

I'd love to know where these people get their information/news. Church? The moonshine still? The mind reels.

On a serious note...that is just fukking pathetic! Here in the Ohio Valley - we have our share of rednecks that have similar brain cells - but the penalties for what I would like to do to them is way to severe! Interesting find.

Yeah... why couldn't these rednecks have been Bengals fans? You're just discriminating against teams that never had Bernie Parmalee or Karim Abdul Jabbar.

Dick- My guess is these folk don't like the Jags--something about the QB...

Cincinnati is conservative, too. Go to hell, Bungles fans! Be classy like us barking dog types up north!

And for the record, these are hillbillies, not rednecks. The footage clearly was taken in a rural area that experiences four seasons. Clearly not Floridian. The accent should have told you that.

Did anybody understand that Boomhower dude in the front?

Whew; I first saw that crew at Drifty's a couple weeks ago, I had to steal it for USojo; and yet I still had a visceral reaction when I saw the poster image here. I can't play it anymore. Maybe I don't get south of Colorado enough, but those creatures seem like they're from another planet, not another state. But there they are in the digital flesh: the real poster children of the illiterate electorate.
