Hard Times for Florida State University

Peter Tom Willis, FSU's radio commentator for the past ten years, was fired this week for his critical statements about the Florida State football team. Apparently they don't appreciate being likened to a high school football team. Well, here at the Illiterate Electorate we work for free and can't get fired for speaking our minds... so, we'd like to back up Peter and say that the Florida State University football team is so pathetic and incompetent that it really should have been likened to the Bush administration.

Also in FSU news...

A 17 year old FSU student nicknamed "A-Bomb" had the audacity to write his monicker on his brief case. Hillarity ensued as the entire town of Tallahassee was shut down due to the obvious threat posed by the luggage. Apparently FSU campus police believe that bombs come labelled as such...

A much bigger issue facing FSU these days is the flight of long time tenured professors. They are done with Florida’s lack of devotion to education. The Great Christ calls it a tight budget year, but when it comes down to it education needs major reform in Florida and an entire makeover on the federal level.
