Bush's First Online Interview...

Our "president" was interviewed online today by Politico and Yahoo News for his first ever online interview. Took him long enough but I can see why he's not too keen on the whole "online" system as we aren't very kind to him in the blogosphere. So what did we learn today from our fearless leader? He's given up golf!

For the first time, Bush revealed a personal way in which he has tried to acknowledge the sacrifice of soldiers and their families: He has given up golf. “I don't want some mom whose son may have recently died to see the commander in chief playing golf,” he said. “I feel I owe it to the families to be in solidarity as best as I can with them. And I think playing golf during a war just sends the wrong signal.”

Well kudos to you for that Mr. Prez, that must have been very difficult to do. I'm sure the families of the troops still in harms way will be able to sleep soundly now that YOU have finally sacrificed SOMETHING. Later he was asked about global warming and if he thought it was real.

“Yes, it is real; sure is.” Bush said. “I could have supported a lousy [Kyoto] treaty and everybody would have went, ‘Oh, man, what a wonderful-sounding fellow he is,’” Bush said. “But it just wouldn't have worked. I don't think you want your president trying to be the cool guy and not end up with policies that actually make a difference. So the policies I've outlined are policies that will actually make a difference: nuclear power for generating electricity, battery driven cars, ethanol.”

Your right sir, we don't want some doofus trying to act cool like clearing brush at his "ranch" or landing on an aircraft carrier and declaring mission accomplished to a throng of admiring sailors. We don't want some dip shit egging on terrorists with cocky, "Bring 'em on" rhetoric. If we can't impeach this retard can we at least gag him until Jan '09? I'm just saying.
