In case you missed Keith Olbermann's volcanic reaction to Senator Clinton's Freudian gaffe yesterday, feast your eyes on one pissed off white boy:

It was a stupid thing to say, but I don't think she meant anything by it. I think that the media should concentrate more on McCain's preachers... ;o)

dr. z - i agree. i feel a little guilty about how interesting i found the whole debacle last night. but its not the most outrageous thing to have happened in this campaign so far - nor will it be any more outrageous than the Obama vs. McCain title fight.

it's time to concentrate on McCain - his mental health, emotional maturity, and decision-making skills are seriously suspect. i have a hard time believing he's capable of the presidency.

also, thanks for putting us on your blogroll. we'll try to earn our keep ;)

I know she didn't mean anything by it but I have to say that a lot of us have had the "assasination" thoughts running through our heads for awhile now. There's still so many pea-brained racists out there and we don't need anyone, let alone a politician, planting seeds in their heads.

puddy said...

maybe that's the problem... maybe they got a buncha seeds in their heads... :)

By the way Krep, "white boy"? Olberman deserves a bit more respect. Heh...

Didn't mean anything? How many times did we hear that Hilary Clinton should be the nominee because it's "her turn", as if it's some kind of entitlement? Everything she has done for at least the last sixteen years has revolved around getting her to this point. Now some johnny-come-lately swoops in pretty much out of nowhere and makes her have to fight for and quite probably lose what she sees as hers. She hates Obama for that. We all know it, and it would kind of be surprising if she didn't.

Now, we all have dark thoughts at times. All of us. And there is no question in my mind that in Senator Clinton's dark place she is thinking, "If only he would die, or get killed, or SOMETHING! Then things could get back to how they're supposed to be!"

Of course, there's a difference between having such thoughts and voicing them out loud, especially in this circumstance.

Her comments, her half-hearted non-apology, and the glimpse into this woman's mind are completely vile.

reason, no doubt clinton is a bit deflated at this point. wanting someone dead is irrational. fictionalizing their thoughts is "unreasonable".

maybe you should change your screenname.

Reason said...

Thank you, Kreplech, for your snide and unhelpful remarks.

Everyone has irrational thoughts from time to time. Just because it's not "nice" doesn't mean it's not true. For example, I'm thinking how much insulting little people who use the anonymity of the internet as an excuse for bad manners could benefit from a hard punch in the nose.

Maybe you're claiming that you never have any irrational thoughts, and don't see how others could. If that's what you're saying, then you are sadly ignorant of human nature in general and yourself specifically. And I pity you.

Clinton has repeatedly shown us during this campaign who she is, her sense of entitlement and elitism, and what she thinks of others.

what you are referring to are homicidal thoughts. consider that and the fact that you've already admitted that things written on the internet make you violent - you need to see a doctor immediately.

and please think before you post on my blog, donkey.

I agree with Reason. There is absolutely no doubt as to what Clinton meant to and did say, PERIOD!

puddy said...

like i said, "my blog". fucker wants to open up his own blog to criticism - then by all means do it. but until then...

puddy said...

tamarac, florida eh? i'll figure out who you are. don't worry, donkey.

Why are you fearful of free speech, little kreplech? Or is it specifically my greater eloquence and knowledge that has you shaking so?

I understand why you are now deleting my comments, being unable to respond with anything but bad insults, sorry name calling, and even implied threats!

Poor, poor little kreplech! We're all friends here; please don't be so afeared!

puddy said...

yes, i'm so "afeared". the phantom poster from my own hometown strikes again. i'm horrified.

Reason said...

Phantom poster? Not at all. I'm Michael, Al Brown's brother.

Next time you're in town let me know and we'll grab a coffee.

It will give you a chance to insult me and call me names to my face. You can even try to follow through on your implied threats.

It will be fun!

Poor, poor little kreplech! You are really showing a propensity for anger and violence - you need to see a doctor immediately!

puddy said...

that's hilarious. i've heard a lot about you michael (including a story about you joining the medieval circus??? awesome story that i've heard and shared many times) - and i actually recognized a little of al's voice in your posts (not to mention, i can see on the server logs that he's been checking the site every time you post). i have the ultimate respect for al, anne (whom i had an 11th grade ecology class with), and anybody related to them (the entire Brown family!!!).

for the record, i don't remember having threatened you. i'm sorry if i led you to believe that those were my intentions.

i wish you nothing but peace, health, and happiness...

Reason said...

Awesome! I told you we were all friends here!

I don't know if you were really upset or just playing it up for the blogs, but Al and I have been having a lot of fun with it.

I feel the love in here...

i think i need to lie down with a cold compress on my forehead...

Reason said...

Me, too. Nothing like laying down with a cold compress to unwind and relax. It's been quite a day!
