I say this all the time.
I love what Bill Maher said on Friday as well. The conservatards always claim not to tax us but then fees, fines, etc. all go up to the point where you can hardly afford them. Pretty soon you'll need to take a loan out to pay for a speeding ticket. Oh wait, sorry, it'll be impossible to get a loan now unless you're rich.
Right on Helen. It was nice of W. to give me a $1200 rebate. Too bad my bills have gone up over $400 a month with major cut backs on my spending. So I buy much less, yet I'm in the hole $400+ every month. I suppose it's the conservatard way!
Taxes are not the root of all evil. But for some reason Americans haven't wanted to pay them, even when they were necessary.
