...This is horrifying. I actually teach in the Cal State system and have never been asked to do this, but a California State University- Fullerton prof refused to sign a pledge of loyalty and got canned.
This policy is being pegged as a relic of the Cold War, and may well be, but it might be something more. What might that be??? I have no idea. What do you think?
